This is the uniquely talented and very wonderful Michelle Heckert, aka 'The Small American', who graciously sang on tracks from the HIGHER LOVERS album and its follow-up SHAMED EP, which should appear later in the year.
Michelle, from San Francisco, recently visited Hawaii at the wrong time (if such a thing is possible). Nothing wrong with the islands of course (how could there be), but Michelle travelled initially in style aboard The Grand Princess cruise ship. Many of you know that this was one of the first to be blighted by the Coronavirus (COVOD-19) pandemic. Michelle found herself quarantined on the ship for 14 days - entertaining the world through her Instagram page - only to be released and further incarcerated at Travis Air Force Base in California.
She is finally free and all of us her give thanks for that and send much love to her and her family. She generously gave of her time and talent in providing backing vocals on 'Dive Down Under Water', 'Shamed', 'Apes Like Sheep', 'Ethandun' and the closing 'Higher Lovers', all before starting her shifts at Mission Burrito in Bath.
Michelle may be small, but she is a hugely talented singer, songwriter and dancer. She has a wonderful ear for a melody and has a style of delivery and vocal rhythm which is perfect for today's pop culture.
